How to Apply
How to Apply for ISPQ Accreditation or Certification
Candidates for one of the six accreditation or certification recognitions must first go through a self assessment by filling out an application that provides evidence they meet the requirements of the ISPQ Accreditation/Certification Standard. Desk and onsite audits are the next steps for training program and master trainer candidates. For continuing education accreditation and instructor certification, a desk audit is usually sufficient. Finally, the Awards Committee makes the determination to grant a credential or not based on the auditor’s report and scrutiny of the candidate’s material.
The process should take no longer than one (1) year from the date the application is received to the final determination by the Awards Committee.
The ISPQ quality assessment is ongoing and includes annual reports. The initial achievement of ISPQ status is not an indefinite credential. ISPQ accreditation and certification is on a five-year cycle with annual reviews. The renewal process at the end of this five year period requires a full application and audit process.
To achieve accreditation or certification, the first step is to determine if the program and/or trainer has met the relevant requirements of the ISPQ International Standard 01022.
Next, review the Candidate Handbook for ISPQ Standard 01022. This will give you all the information you need to know about eligibility, fees, annual maintenance of the award, timelines, and policies. It is a hefty document but it covers all aspects of the ISPQ assessment process.
A specific Application has been developed for each of the six recognition programs.
