For five days in June, thirty-one utility executives and managers traveled to Germany to learn its success integrating significant amounts of solar energy into the electricity grid.
Throughout the five-day fact finding mission, the delegation met with numerous players in the German electricity marketplace, visited multiple solar installations, and toured the largest solar tradeshow in Europe. SEPA has just issued a reporton what they learned.
After the U.S. delegation returned to the U.S., they studied further the costs of the feed-in tariff concept. A summary of that report is provided in the “Follow-up
Information” section at the end of the delegation’s overall report.
