CERET (Consortium for Education in Renewable Energy Technology) is holding two summer academies designed for high school and two-year college science and technical education instructors.
One hands-on academy will cover the fundamentals of biofuels with an emphasis on fuel production, quality control, engine performance, and vehicle emissions. Details for the Renewable Energy Train the Trainer Biofuels Academy can be found in the attached CERET Biofuel Trainer Flyer.
Teaming up with SEI (Solar Energy International), CERET will offer a five day, hands-on installation practice with photovoltaic (solar electric) systems at SEI’s world-class PV Lab training facility in Paonia, Colorado. Participants will install, teardown, dissect, and reinstall multiple types of grid-direct PV systems. The academy will focus on safe installation and commissioning procedures, and techniques for teaching PV in the classroom. Details for the Renewable Energy Train the Trainer Solar Electric Academy can be found in the attached CERET PV Trainer Flyer.
