School districts throughout California are implementing large-scale solar projects as an attractive way to reduce utility costs.
On March 26, 2010, our friends at the Solar Schoolhouse are offering Powering Schools with Sunlight, a forum that will highlight successful solar school projects, provide tips for what to include in RFPs and contracts, and review the pros and cons of various financing models. The Forum will also cover how solar electric systems can be used as teaching tools. School boards, administrators, facilities personnel, curriculum specialists, and teaching staff would benefit from this Forum.
The day-long forum (9 am-5:30 pm) will be held at Sonoma Mountain Village, 1500 Valley House Dr., Rohnert Park, CA. The cost– $55–includes lunch and a networking reception from 4-5:30pm (sponsored by Westcoast Solar).
Registration Deadline of March 15th.
Participants will receive a complimentary copy of Solar Schoolhouse’s ‘Teaching Solar.” Participants will receive a complimentary copy of Solar Schoolhouse publication “Teaching Solar“
