NEW YORK: On-Site Wind Incentive Program Back in Operation.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) offers incentives to encourage the installation of end-use wind energy systems for residential, commercial, institutional or government use. The incentives will be paid to Eligible Installers who install approved new grid-connected wind energy conversion systems using qualified equipment.

The revised On-Site Wind Incentive Program is now on the NYSERDA website and can be found on NYSERDA’s Funding Opportunities Page. Please note this interim program will expire no later than June 30, 2010 and NYSERDA is currently developing a new and improved program for the next five years.

Please review the Summary of Revisions and note that only complete applications will be reviewed.

In addition, the revised incentives for specific turbines can be found by clicking here.
