Call for Exhibitors Announced for National Clean Energy Workforce Education Conference

A limited number of exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their company, organization or programs to some 500 renewable energy and energy efficiency educators expected to attend the fifth Clean Energy Workforce Education Conference, November 14-15 in Albany, NY.

The conference has become the largest national gathering of innovative clean workforce trainers, offering the most current information on instructional strategies, curricula development, credentialing and best practices for training in the renewable energy and energy efficiency fields.

Conference participants – including instructors, educational centers and industry experts – will have access to the exhibit gallery Wednesday, November 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday November 15th from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Exhibit booths are available in limited quantity, on a first come, first served basis. Exhibitors are encouraged to reserve space as soon as possible, preferably by August 31st. Payment in full is due by October 1st.   Details about the schedule, fees and other policies can be found in the Exhibitor’s Prospectus.

“For those offering or planning clean energy training programs for the renewable energy and energy efficiency markets, this conference is the one event that brings the latest information and best networking opportunities together,” says IREC Executive Director Jane Weissman.

The primary 2012 conference sponsor is The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). IREC is the conference organizer.

The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) is a non-profit organization accelerating the use of renewable energy since 1982. IREC’s programs and policies lead to easier, more affordable connection to the utility grid; fair credit for renewable energy produced; best practices for states, municipalities, utilities and industry; and quality assessment for the growing clean energy workforce through the credentialing of trainers and training programs.
