Accelerate Your Success: Quality is Quiet. Mistakes are not.

IREC premieres our new industry-targeted video this week in Las Vegas at Solar Power International (SPI), Accelerate Your Success: Quality is quiet. Mistakes are not. With thanks to ACT Foundation funding, through the National Network of Business and Industry Associations, the film clearly traces why credible credentials count and reduce costly mistakes.

You’ll see we employed a bit of cartoon humor to bring home the message that “the best new technology is only as good as the workmanship around it.”

Also from Vegas, IREC releases Trends Shaping Our Clean Energy Future, an annual report full of information and insight from IREC’s independent experts. And we hold a series of floor forums at the SPI exhibition hall that along with showing the Accelerate Your Success film, present some hot-button regulatory and workforce topics. We promise no dull moments.

IREC Regulatory Director Sara Baldwin Auck is going to give a fast-paced primer on regulatory actions. Sky Stanfield will dig deeper and look at what’s next in interconnection innovations. She’ll also cover how distribution system planning can be transformed through an integrated grid. Jason Keyes tackles fair compensation for distributed solar generation.

Erica Schroeder McConnell, along with SEPA’s Becky Campbell, will look at what’s working with shared solar and what’s ahead. Joe Sarubbi, Laure-Jeanne Davignon, and Cheri Faso make the case that your company’s reputation rides on the quality of your workforce. Larry Sherwood gives his standing-room only run through of IREC’s annual solar market installation report. And, I pull it all together with a look into 2015 and six trends to watch for.

More to share after Vegas! Talk with you soon.
