Everblue Celebrates 10 Years of IREC Accreditation
Everblue, a training provider specializing in clean energy and energy efficiency, celebrated their 10-year anniversary of IREC Accreditation! Their two credentials, tied to the Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector positions, were first awarded in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Since then, Everblue has shown their continuous commitment to both quality training and the overall success and growth of the weatherization and clean energy industry.
Everblue is headquartered in Huntersville, North Carolina but offers in-person training in multiple states, along with a robust online learning platform that provides high-quality remote training. With over a decade of experience, Everblue continues to expand their programming, making it possible to reach more job seekers interested in learning new skills or advancing from their current roles. Everblue is under assessment to add credentials tied to two other job positions in the weatherization industry, Crew Leader and Retrofit Installer Technician. Both positions focus on improving safety and air quality by installing energy-saving home upgrades and ensuring work is completed safely and to the highest standards.

IREC accreditation provides critical validation of high-quality training programs that meet industry standards, benefiting both trainees and the broader workforce. IREC credentials increase the confidence level that industry, employers, consumers, financiers, and governments can have in the participating Training Providers and Instructors by providing a nationally recognized process of evaluation.
