The American Solar Energy Society’s Small Wind Division bi-monthly webinar series continues on May 6, 2010 (11:30am-1pm PT; 2:30pm-4:00pm ET) with an introduction to the Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency (DSIRE). The webinar will be presented by Amanda Vanega.
For everyone in the small wind industry, understanding the constantly changing state and federal incentives is a challenge. This is especially true for those new to the field. Luckily, the DSIRE resource is available to help keep track of policies and incentives. Through this webinar, participants will learn about the DSIRE database and how to use it effectively. In addition, we will provide an overview of emerging policies, incentives and trends as well as answer your questions.
Established in 1995, the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) is an ongoing project of the North Carolina Solar Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, Inc. (IREC). It is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), primarily through the Office of Planning, Budget and Analysis (PBA). The site is administered by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), which is operated for DOE by the Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC.
