The DOE Solar Energy Technologies Program has issued the request for information (RFI) Solar Policy and Analysis Regional Centers. The purpose of an RFI is to gather valuable input from stakeholders.
The Solar Policy and Analysis Regional Centers RFI seeks input on a proposed strategy of creating Solar Policy and Analysis Regional Centers around the country that would fill the need for timely local and regional policy research and analysis supporting solar commercialization. DOE envisions using a competitive Funding Opportunity Announcement and resulting cooperative agreement awards in the future to establish up to nine university-based Centers, though there is no guarantee that a project will be supported as a result of this RFI.
