IREC has just released its newest report, Renewable Energy Training: Best Practices and Recommended Guidelines, prepared by Jane Weissman, Jerry Ventre, Barbara Martin and Katie Bolcar.
Quality training for the workforce is a critical component to support labor market needs. Workforce education and training requires attention to at least three main components:
- Types of skills, skill sets, knowledge, and abilities
- Types of instructional activities that will promote different skills and skill sets
- Types of institutions that can provide the learning experiences.
