MICHIGAN – On March 18, the Michigan Public Service Commission (PSC) issued an order adopting net metering and interconnection rules in compliance with Public Act 295 of 2008, also known as the Clean, Renewable and Efficient Energy Act. The approved rules apply to electric utilities including investor-owned, regulated cooperatives, and alternative electric suppliers. The approved rules were sent to the Legislative Service Bureau and the State Office of Administrative Hearings. Appropriate utility tariffs must be filed by May 4.
