New York state is seeking proposals for $30 million worth of commercial renewable energy projects in New York City and the Hudson Valley.
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority is looking for proposals for solar and renewable biogas systems larger than 200 kilowatts by Dec. 30. The projects must be installed at businesses, factories, municipal buildings or other large commercial facilities.
Projects must be operating by April 2015.
The funding comes under the NY-Sun Competitive Photovoltaic Program.
