State clean energy funds and programs have a variety of financing tools at their disposal to support solar PV and other distributed renewable energy project deployment. Historically, states have relied heavily on rebates and other forms of direct project assistance. However, states are increasingly looking for ways to leverage available dollars.
The Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) Distributed Renewable Energy Finance and Policy Toolkit (by Charles Kubert and Mark Sinclair) provides an overview of established and emerging financing tools which states can use to provide support for solar PV projects of all sizes.
The Clean Energy Group and The Council of State Governments upcoming webinar highlighting Renewable Energy Finance and Policy Tools will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT). Register for this webinar.
Charles Kubert, CESA Project Director and principal author of the report, will discuss key findings from the report.
Clean Energy Group (CEG) and The Council of State Governments (CSG) have developed the PV Peer Network as a forum for state leaders to share information and ideas, ask questions about state solar programs and policies, highlight state solar program developments and reports, and announce upcoming solar events.
