Excitement is growing for the upcoming Small Wind Conference, the premier event for small wind.  Small wind-electric system designers and installers, and those involved in sales, specification, management, funding, and permitting of small wind systems will be attending the conference at the Ramada Conference Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, June 15 and 16.

Windustry is partnering with the Small Wind Conference Coordinating Committee to produce the Sixth Annual Small Wind Conference.  Larry Flowers, Technical Director of Wind Powering America, will be the Keynote Speaker.

The Conference agenda will include cutting edge information on wind resource and siting issues, mid-sized turbines, installer challenges and solutions, states benefits grants programs that provide incentives, the new NABCEP Small Wind Installer certification, and turbine test results, including a panel of manufacturers.  This year’s conference will also include a poster presentation, as well as awards for leaders in the industry.

On Monday, June 14,  two pre-conference seminars will be offered: Fundamentals of Wind Energy and Small Wind Systems and the Zoning Summit 2010.  The Conference itself will run June 15 – 16.
