The final draft of a Solar America Board for Codes and Standards (Solar ABCs) report on recommended updates to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Small Generators Interconnection Procedures (SGIP) is complete and the authors are seeking stakeholder comments. You can see the draft report.

This Solar ABCs report recommends updates to the FERC SGIP fast track screens based on the results of a questionnaire completed by 37 Subject Matter Experts and review of recent reports.  The study is being led by Michael Sheehan working on behalf of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, Inc. (IREC) and Tommy Cleveland at the North Carolina Solar Center, also working on behalf of IREC.
