The Solar ABCs collaborative is hosting a webinar on April 6, 2010 (3:00-4:30 pm EDT) to discuss a study currently underway on the Rate Impact of Net Metering. This study is investigating the rate impact net metered solar PV systems have on the electricity rate paid by all utility customers. It’s also a chance for all stakeholders to hear about the status of this study, ask questions, and provide input to the authors. The webinar will be led by the authors, Jason Keyes and Joseph Wiedman of Keyes & Fox, LLP, working on behalf of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council, Inc. (IREC).
The Solar ABCs is a collaborative effort among experts to formally gather and prioritize input from the broad spectrum of solar PV stakeholders including policy makers, manufacturers, installers, and consumers resulting in coordinated recommendations to codes and standards-making bodies for existing and new solar technologies. The U.S. Department of Energy funds Solar ABCs as part of its commitment to facilitate wide-spread adoption of safe, reliable, and cost-effective solar technologies.
Register: There is no cost to attend. Meeting will be held via GoToWebinar software, which will allow conference call audio (via phone or computer) and visual presentation by the presenters.
