SOUTH CAROLINA – On August 5, the South Carolina Public Service Commission issued a directive approving the recent net metering settlement. In June, parties involved in docket 2005-385-E, signed an agreement to improve the terms of net metering in the state. The settlement was signed by the individual intervenors, the Office of Regulatory Staff (ORS) and the investor-owned utilities in the state (Progress, Duke and SCE&G).
The directive approves the settlement and maintains that affected utilities will:
