SUNY/Ulster Offers Small Wind Turbine Installation Workshop

Roy Butler, Four Winds Energy, will be teaching a week-long class at SUNY/Ulster from October 6-10, 2008 for interested homeowners, businesses and contractors in how to install a wind turbine. The five-day seminar will run from Mon – Fri, Oct 6 – 10, 2008, from 9 am – 4:30 pm for $499. A basic understanding of electricity is a prerequisite.

This unique learning opportunity will help attendees learn how to to properly site, specify, permit, and install a residential-scale wind energy system by participating in this week-long workshop.

Roy Butler is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer, and is also a NYSERDA-eligible PV and wind installer.

For those individuals who simply want more information and an overview of wind turbines, Roy will offer this as a one-day class on Monday, October 6th from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. cost $89.
