Wisconsin Solar Decade Announces Keynoters

Wisconsin’s 6th Solar Decade Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at the Milwaukee Frontier Airlines Center.  The deadline for early bird rates ($125/person) is September 5th. Wisconsin’s 6th Solar Decade Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at the Milwaukee Frontier Airlines Center.  The deadline for early bird rates ($125/person) is September 5th.

Organizers of the day-long conference, including Focus on Energy, We Energies, the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance, and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, expect more than 400 attendees from Wisconsin and across the Midwest. Keynoters include Julie Blunden, vice president for public policy and corporate communications at SunPower Corporation, and Jeff Wolfe, P.E., of groSolar, a recognized leader in the solar energy industry and a leading voice on solar energy policy throughout the U.S.

The conference will have three breakout sessions on topics like solar electric and solar thermal project case studies, PACE programs, NEC compliant systems, solar thermal and solar electric supply chain, and solar electric hardware.

Following the day-long solar decade conference will be Solar Thermal 10, a two-day national solar heating and cooling
conference, also at the Milwaukee Frontier Airlines Center.
