NASCSP 2023 Annual Training Conference, 9/25-9/29
The NASCSP 2023 Annual Training Conference is a five-day, immersive experience offering valuable opportunities for state administrators, state associations, local eligible entities, and other professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges in improved performance, innovation, and accountability in the fight to change the face of poverty across the nation.
The theme this year is “45 Years of Shaping the Future.”
The 2023 Annual Training Conference is separated into the following two tracks:
The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) CSBG initiatives. It also highlights best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement.
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) WAP initiatives and grantee management issues.
IREC’s Program Director Pagan Poggione will be discussing IREC’s WAP Enhancement & Innovation (E&I) project.
