National Clean Energy Workforce Alliance Webinar – Opening the Door Early: Building Youth Awareness of Clean Energy Careers, 10/21

Pathways into good jobs in the clean energy industry already exist, but too many students and families either don’t know about them or rank them below a four-year degree by default. The clean energy sector is generating career advancement opportunities, high-tech skill sets and union-level wages all without a debt-heavy university degree. This session brings together three organizations that built their training programs around that gap connecting young people to steady, purpose-driven work. Attendees will leave with concrete ideas for introducing clean energy careers earlier, building work-based learning into existing programs, and making the case, backed by real outcomes, that clean energy career pathways are a legitimate first choice.
