Historic levels of public and private investments in clean energy are expected to increase demand for skilled workers across multiple sectors. In their role convening stakeholders, developing energy policies and plans, and deploying clean energy programs, State Energy Offices occupy a unique position in the workforce development system. Many State Energy Offices help inform or provide funding to support energy workforce training programs, and several have conducted or overseen the development of state-level energy job assessments. State Energy Offices also partner with other state agencies, such as state Departments of Labor and state and local workforce development boards.

This webinar will include a presentation from the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and feature a panel of state leaders to discuss the broad range of strategies State Energy Offices are adopting to support workforce development activities and connect workers with good quality jobs.
